CAD: Most of you know that Computer Aided Drafting exists but might not understand how it can give you and your properties the advantage over your competition. The ability to retrieve plans, reuse portions of drawings, make changes, and calculate square footage quickly and accurately, can improve your ability to market, manage and sell Real Estate.

CAD: START UP: The initial step is to input your property into our CAD system. This is done by obtaining original building plans, a plat of survey, or by our on-site field measuring. Our input should include the building's footprint, exterior doors, windows, columns,washrooms, location of the electric main and other core items. It should also include demising walls between tenants, or between private and common areas such as corridors. Interior buildout of individual units can be added later. After the "as-built"conditions are in the system, your options are wide open.
