MEASURED DRAWINGS:

We provide measured floor plan drawings of existing buildings. Our staff will take on-site measurements of an office, retail store, warehouse or other space, then draw up plans at the scale you require. We also update old, obsolete drawings if they exist, offering cost savings whenever possible. The resulting scale drawing can be used for precise square footage calculations, accurate representation of existing site and building conditions, or in conjunction with our graphic design service.

Lately we've had many requests for reductions of our measured drawings. This provides the Real Estate professional with an easy-to-handle, cost efficient marketing tool which can be faxed if required. These drawings can also be incorporated into brochures or lease attachments, as well as converted to a PDF file for e-mailing.

Measured Drawings can be ordered by phone and are completed quickly. You know the price in advance by looking at our Fee Schedule. Following is a sample job completion schedule:

• Monday: 10:30 A.M. Receive your call to measure a 13,000 s.f. warehouse in Itasca. The fee for this drawing will not exceed $720.00
• Monday: 10:45 A.M. We receive via fax your completed Work Order form with all the necessary information regarding property information, service(s) requested, turnaround time, etc.
  
• Monday: 11:00 A.M. Call warehouse office to schedule appointment to measure.
  
• Tuesday: 9:30 A.M. Two staff members go to warehouse for on-site measuring. (We will be on site for 1 to 6 hours, depending on the building size and the information needed. If drawings for permits and/or construction are required in the near future, we document the location of all existing outlets, sprinklers, tile ceilings, exit lights, etc.)
  
• Tuesday: 2:00 P.M. Return to our office where draftsman begins to draw floor plan of warehouse as it was measured, creating a to-scale, measured drawing.
  
• Wednesday: 11:00 A.M. Scale drawing is complete. If a reduction of the drawing is needed (for use on color brochure or to reproduce onto an 8 x 10 xerox), original is sent out for photographic reduction. If large scale drawing is desired, this is eliminated.
  
• Wednesday: 11:30 A.M. Verify all dimensions and create labels for final drawing, while original is out for reduction.
  
• Thursday: 9:00 A.M. Receive reduction via Fax. Prepare final drawing by adding dimensions, labels and information required.
• Thursday: 2:00 P.M. Notify you of drawing ready for approval. Hand-deliver, mail or fax your copy for immediate attention.
  
• Friday: 9:00 A.M. Receive call of your approval and your order for 12 blueprints.
  
• Friday: 3:00 P.M. You meet prospective tenant with 12 blueprints in hand.
  
• Friday: 4:30 P.M. Prospective tenant takes the property, uses measured drawing to attach to lease and to lay out new plant.
